About Dr. Beyer

Dr. Ed Beyer

Dr. Edward Beyer was born on the south side of Chicago and raised in a family of six in the southern suburbs of Chicago.

As a youth his interests quickly turned to sports- eventually participating in high school football, baseball and wrestling at Hillcrest High School in Country Club Hills. While playing football Dr. Beyer sustained a back injury. Originally he sought out traditional care for his pain. When this did not help him he went on to seek successful chiropractic care. The success of the treatment sparked his desire to become a Doctor of Chiropractic.

Dr. Beyer did his undergraduate study at Western Illinois University and Brigham Young University.

As a young adult his passions for competitive sports lead him to physical fitness. Over the course of the last 25 years he has completed five marathons and several triathlons. In 1987 he qualified and completed the prestigious Boston marathon in less than three hours.

Also, in that same year, he graduated cum laude and fourth in his class from the National College of Chiropractic In Lombard Illinois.

The next year, 1988, was a significant year in his life as it marked the birth of his first child and the opening of his Clinic in Tinley Park. The next 23 years brought great growth to his family and his practice.  Dr. Beyer is now the father of 5 children. His practice has grown from a 1000 square foot office with two employees to 3000 square feet with 12 employees. He has served over 11,000 patients since 1988.

Dr. Beyer has logged hundreds of hours in post-graduate study of Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis and Metabolic Testing & Treatment under Dr. Datis Kharrazian, D.C., M.S., F.A.A.C.P., D.A.C.B.N. & Dr. David Clark, D.C., D.A.C.B.N. among many other top doctors.
